Ashtanga Improv Yoga

All levels. This class will be gentle yet challenging and the class will
focus on the 3 A’s of Anusara Yoga (Attitude, Alignment and Action).
We will end class with some short Pranayama and Meditation.

Ecclectic Hatha Yoga

All levels. This class is perfect for the individual who is returning to yoga
or physical activity after a break, for the beginner who is curious about

Children’s Belly Dance:
Taught by Karen Tapia
All levels. This class is a wonderful blend of basic children’s dance
movement patterns and beginning belly dance grammar. Your child will
enjoy using their imagination while learning the importance of rhythm
and technique to a variety of fun and worldly music.

Roots Dance:
Taught by Karen Tapia
All levels. This class is a wonderful blend of ATS belly dance and Afro
Cuban dance styles. Not only will you learn the history and background
of the dance but you will also be challenged by combining the two into a
strong and graceful dance movement. Don’t miss this class while it lasts!

Diva Style ~ Ladies Salsa Movement
Taught by Angie Calvin
All levels. This class will teach basic footwork, footwork patterns, styling,
body movements and isolations. Each class is structured to adjust to
one’s varied levels of dance experience and each class will introduce
new materials or build upon those previously taught for review.

Dances of Ghana, African Dance Class
Taught by Akayaa
All levels. These dances are traditional from many tribes. Akayaa
learned and taught these dances as she was growing up in the village.
She is a part time Professor at SDSU and South Western College in
Chula Vista. She is also the founder of Akayaa and Bolga Zohdoomah
and Abaa-koma Dance Ensemble. Come learn songs and dances
while working out.
